Dog DNA

Like many of you, we rescued a mutt. She is a wonderful Golden mix that has become a certified therapy dog. Her sweet, gentle personality is what prompted us to really wonder what mix of dogs could create such a great dog. Thanks to the magic of DNA analysis these answers are possible. Like most of you, I searched the web and found a flood of mostly advertising sites trying to sell Dog DNA testing kits. I had already heard some of the scam stories for these tests, so I certainly did not want to get caught in one of those.

The only way I was going to invest in one of these tests was to do research into the background of the testing services to determine with a high certainty that I was going to get a high quality test at a fair price.
